Moreover 14-3-3 proteins are important to regulate cell cycle by combination with the factors, which modulate the localization. In previous report, we revealed that carbon ion beams irradiation could induce more wee1 protein than gammma ray irradiation. Meanwhile, we could not detect any differences in the expressions of 14-3-3 proteins by the total cell extractions. In this study, though we investigated the differences of Wee1 mRNA levels between carbon ion beams irradiation and gamma ray irradiation, we have not carried out our purpose yet.
