NIRS has investigated intensity modulated multi-ion therapy to improve outcome for refractory cancer treatment. In this therapy, we can control not only the dose but also the linear energy transfer (LET) and the biological effect in the target volume by using multiple ion species for treatment irradiation. To realize multi-ion therapy, it is required that the accelerator control system can switch the ion species, energy and intensity of the output beams quickly in the treatment session. In this paper, we describe the system configuration for multi-ion therapy and the results of the beam test carried out in HIMAC.}, pages = {1210--1213}, title = {強度変調マルチイオン照射のためのシンクロトロン運転の検討}, year = {2018} }
