Various structures of adsorbents have an influence on absorption efficiency and the flexible workability of adsorbents has been demanded for element recovery from seawater. Polyethylene terephthalate (PET) is a versatile polymer and have flexible workability. In this study,with radiation grafting method using o/w emulsion as a reaction solution, radiation-grafting onto PET fiber was successfully performed and the grafted materials could be converted to vanadium adsorbents. We applied these adsorbents to vanadium recovery tests from real seawater and showed that the synthesized adsorbents successfully collected vanadium from real seawater.}, publisher = {RadTech Asia 2016 Organizing Committee}, title = {Vanadium recovery from seawater by radiation grafted adsorbents based on polyethylene terephthalate fiber}, year = {2016} }
