High-coverage expression profiling (HiCEP) was used to screening radiation-responsive genes in F. candida, and the identified genes included a poly(ADP-ribose) polymerase (PARP)-like gene. Expression of the PARP-like gene was up-regulated in a dose-dependent manner both in juveniles and adults. Levels of the up-regulation were higher in juveniles than in adults, and changed dramatically within 4 h after but a little 4–24 h after irradiation. In conclusion, expression of the PARP-like gene of F. candida may be used as a biomarker of radiation exposure if age-synchronized animals fixed 4–24 h after exposure were used.}, pages = {29--31}, title = {トビムシにおける放射線照射後のDNA修復関連遺伝子の発現}, volume = {2008-9}, year = {2008} }
