One of the forward planning in HIMAC is to use a positron emitter beam such as 11C(R.I.) beam for the cancer therapy.  In connection with that study, a gas-pulsing system has been developed for an Electron Cyclotron Resonance Ion Source (Kei2-source).  The gas-pulsing system is consists of two fast solenoid-valves, which reserve a limited amount of the 11CH4 gas.  The number of gas-molecule containing the one-pulse is controlled by range of 1014 ppp for Ch4-molecules.
