To include the effect of the fragments in treatment planning, we proposed a simple calculation model based on the Goldhaber model, in which the spatial distribution of fragments can be represented using a single free parameter. To examine the property of the parameter, we measured the distributions of fragments for some projectile-target combinations, using the various species of incident particles and targets and compared them with the model.
