An electrostatic inflector (ESI) and an electrostatic deflector (ESD) are installed in the same vavuum chamber for the compactness. The ESI and the ESD were designed so as to bend the 7 MeV proton beam as large as 211 mrad. Now, the ESI is operted very stably with the high voltge of over 90 kV/cm.
