Under aerobic conditions, Tc is present in the heptavalent form as pertechnetate anion (TcO4-). This chemical species is soluble and mobile in the environment and is readily taken up by plants. Therefore, prediction of the behavior and fate of 99Tc in the environment is desirable.\n\\nRecently, we found that Tc is transformed from soluble to insoluble forms in ponding water of paddy fields (Ishii et al., 2004) and that the transformation is caused by bacteria (Ishii and Tagami, 2003), especially gram-negative bacteria (Ishii and Uchida, 2005). Other than indigenous bacteria in paddy fields, some bacteria capable of accumulating Tc have been reported (Lloyd and Macaskie, 2000). In aquatic environments, bacteria are ingested by heterotrophic nanoflagellates and ciliates as their food (Nakano et al., 1998). A part of the ingested bacteria accumulate in protozoan cells and the rest are excreted from the protozoa. This means that the bacterial ingestion by protozoa would govern the fate of Tc. Our aim in the present study was to determine the fate of Tc through prey-predator interaction between bacteria and protozoa.","subitem_description_type":"Abstract"}]},"item_access_right":{"attribute_name":"アクセス権","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_access_right":"metadata only access","subitem_access_right_uri":"http://purl.org/coar/access_right/c_14cb"}]},"item_creator":{"attribute_name":"著者","attribute_type":"creator","attribute_value_mlt":[{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Ishii, Nobuyoshi"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"547357","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Uchida, Shigeo"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"547358","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"石井 伸昌","creatorNameLang":"en"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"547359","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"内田 滋夫","creatorNameLang":"en"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"547360","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]}]},"item_language":{"attribute_name":"言語","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_language":"eng"}]},"item_resource_type":{"attribute_name":"資源タイプ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"resourcetype":"conference paper","resourceuri":"http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_5794"}]},"item_title":"Transformation of insoluble technetium to soluble forms by bacterivorous ciliate","item_titles":{"attribute_name":"タイトル","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_title":"Transformation of insoluble technetium to soluble forms by bacterivorous ciliate"}]},"item_type_id":"10003","owner":"1","path":["2"],"pubdate":{"attribute_name":"公開日","attribute_value":"2006-01-06"},"publish_date":"2006-01-06","publish_status":"0","recid":"53629","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["Transformation of insoluble technetium to soluble forms by bacterivorous ciliate"],"weko_creator_id":"1","weko_shared_id":-1},"updated":"2023-05-15T23:10:26.779331+00:00"}
