Natural SiO2 crystals collected in the HBRA which exhibit TL is expected to be usable for dosimetry of the radiations from natural sources. However, the TL mechanism has not yet been well explained. In this paper, TL spectra were examined on natural SiO2 and synthesized SiO2 doped with Al3+ and/or Eu3+. As the results, it is expected that we could establish more quantitative TL dosimetry on HBRA using natural SiO2 crystals by estimating quantum efficiency on each TL of Eu3+.}, pages = {424--425}, publisher = {Elsevier}, title = {Thermoluminescence Mechanism on SiO2 Phosphor}, year = {2005} }
