Its purpose is to study super-GZK (E > 10^20 eV) cosmic rays discovered by AGASA. In order to identify the origin of super-GZK events, TA has ~30 times larger aperture than AGASA and provides a particle identification by the shower profile measurement. The first step of construction will start as a hybrid detector with an AGASA/10 ground array and a part of fluorescence telescopes, which will unambiguously establish the existence of super-GZK and cluster events with much improved statistics and systematics. This paper describes the physics of TA and its overall planning.","subitem_description_type":"Abstract"}]},"item_access_right":{"attribute_name":"アクセス権","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_access_right":"metadata only access","subitem_access_right_uri":"http://purl.org/coar/access_right/c_14cb"}]},"item_creator":{"attribute_name":"著者","attribute_type":"creator","attribute_value_mlt":[{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Arai, Yasuo"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"543752","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Fukushima, Masaki"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"543753","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Uchihori, Yukio"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"543754","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Yasuda, Nakahiro"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"543755","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"et.al"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"543756","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"内堀 幸夫","creatorNameLang":"en"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"543757","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"安田 仲宏","creatorNameLang":"en"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"543758","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]}]},"item_language":{"attribute_name":"言語","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_language":"eng"}]},"item_resource_type":{"attribute_name":"資源タイプ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"resourcetype":"conference paper","resourceuri":"http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_5794"}]},"item_title":"The Telescope Array Experiment: An Overview aand Physics Aims","item_titles":{"attribute_name":"タイトル","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_title":"The Telescope Array Experiment: An Overview aand Physics Aims"}]},"item_type_id":"10003","owner":"1","path":["2"],"pubdate":{"attribute_name":"公開日","attribute_value":"2004-01-07"},"publish_date":"2004-01-07","publish_status":"0","recid":"53274","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["The Telescope Array Experiment: An Overview aand Physics Aims"],"weko_creator_id":"1","weko_shared_id":-1},"updated":"2023-05-15T23:14:29.908802+00:00"}
