Imaging studies using phantoms of different nitroxides at different concentration levels showed that EPRI and OMRI sensitivities were found to be linearly dependent on line width of nitroxides up to 2 mM, and the enhancement in MRI intensity was linear up to 5 mM. The sensitivity and resolution of EPRI and OMRI images depended significantly on the line width of the nitroxides whereas the MRI images were almost independent of EPR line width.\nReduction of the paramagnetic 3-carbamoyl-2,2,5,5-tetramethylpyrrolidine-1-oxyl (3CP) by ascorbic acid (AsA) to the diamagnetic by hydroxylamine was monitored from a sequence of temporal images, acquired using the three imaging modalities. The decay rates determined by all the three modalities were found to be similar. However the results suggest that T1-weighted MRI can monitor the redox status, in addition to providing detailed anatomical structure in a short time. Therefore, a combination of MRI with nitroxides as metabolically responsive contrast agents can be a useful technique for the in vivo imaging probing tissue redox status.","subitem_description_type":"Abstract"}]},"item_8_source_id_9":{"attribute_name":"ISSN","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"1090-7807","subitem_source_identifier_type":"ISSN"}]},"item_access_right":{"attribute_name":"アクセス権","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_access_right":"metadata only access","subitem_access_right_uri":"http://purl.org/coar/access_right/c_14cb"}]},"item_creator":{"attribute_name":"著者","attribute_type":"creator","attribute_value_mlt":[{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Hyodo, Fuminori"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"487490","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Murugesan, Ramachandran"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"487491","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Matsumoto, Ken-ichiro"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"487492","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Hyodo, Emi"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"487493","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Subramanian, Sankaran"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"487494","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"B., Mitchell James"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"487495","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"松本 謙一郎","creatorNameLang":"en"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"487496","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]}]},"item_language":{"attribute_name":"言語","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_language":"eng"}]},"item_resource_type":{"attribute_name":"資源タイプ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"resourcetype":"journal article","resourceuri":"http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_6501"}]},"item_title":"Monitoring redox-sensitive paramagnetic contrast agent by EPRI, OMRI and MRI","item_titles":{"attribute_name":"タイトル","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_title":"Monitoring redox-sensitive paramagnetic contrast agent by EPRI, OMRI and MRI"}]},"item_type_id":"8","owner":"1","path":["1"],"pubdate":{"attribute_name":"公開日","attribute_value":"2018-02-14"},"publish_date":"2018-02-14","publish_status":"0","recid":"48490","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["Monitoring redox-sensitive paramagnetic contrast agent by EPRI, OMRI and MRI"],"weko_creator_id":"1","weko_shared_id":-1},"updated":"2023-05-15T23:27:30.098888+00:00"}
