An effect of End Ridge Tuner which characterizes electric-field distribution was investigated by a three-dimensional simulator. Also a half-scale cold model was constructed to confirm the distribution. To verify the design strategy to fulfill the features mentioned above, a test IH-linac has been manufactured. A shunt impedance of the linac was deduced by measuring energies of emitted X-rays from the cavity.
