内容記述 The main purpose of our group is production of radionuclides for PET and TRT, development of new labeling techniques and useful radioprobes, and production of radiopharmaceuticals for clinical use.1) Irradiation methods and production of metal- and halogen-radionuclidesWe have developed an automated target handling system, vertical irradiation station, and target vessels made of ceramic to facilitate the production capacity of radio-metals and halogens. Nowadays, we are producing 43 radionuclides, including 211At and 225Ac for TRT study.2) Radiolabeling techniques and useful radioprobes for PET and TRTWe have built a technology platform to develop various synthetic methods and systems for producing radiolabeling agents with many chemical functional groups. We have determined reliable and reproducible techniques for producing radiolabeling agents, such as [11C]COCl2, [11C]HCN, [11C]CH3COCl, [18F]FEtBr, and [18F]epifluorohydrin, and designed automated synthesis systems to produce these agents with high radiochemical yields and sufficient radioactivity for radiolabeling.Using the diverse radiolabeling agents, we have developed new radioprobes for in vivo imaging and quantitative measurement of various targets (tau, α-synuclein, mGluR, AMPA, TSPO, and MAGL etc.) in brain, cancer, and peripheral organs in animals and human. We have also labeled modalities, including small molecules, peptides, and antibodies, for PET and TRT studies on animals.3) Production of radiopharmaceuticals for clinical usesWe are routinely producing 130 PET radiopharmaceuticals ([18F]PMPBB3, [18F]SPAL-T-06, [18F]C05-05, [18F]FEDAC, [18F]ER, and [18F]T-401 etc.) for clinical uses. To translate PET radiopharmaceuticals for clinical uses, we have developed and established safe and effective production methods, validated fast and easy analytical methods, including radiometabolite analysis, that can be used by many PET facilities.
