CIGS solar cells are well known to be extremely radiation tolerant due to their self-recovery characteristics assisted by heat and light for the radiation damage.We Idemitsu have already demonstrated that our CIGS solar cells are resistant to electron irradiations, and in this study, we investigated the proton irradiation resistance of our solar cells. We report our research results on the energy dependence of proton beams, as well as the thermal and light conditions required to realize a self-recovery characteristics. |
