| 内容記述 | We have performed x-ray diffraction measurements under high pressure and elevated temperature up to 1273K using a cubic-type multi-anvil press at BL14B1 in SPring-8 synchrotron radiation facility. The pressure was controlled to keep the density of water constant at about 1.0 g/cm3. The positions of the first maximum of the structure factor, S(Q), of water at ambient pressure merged with the second maximum with increasing temperature. The position of the first maximum of the pair distribution function, g(r), slightly increased with increasing temperature. These changes indicate that the ice-like local structure vanished with increasing temperature. The S(Q) and g(r) at 1273K were similar to those at 673K except for some broadening. No drastic changes, such as ionization, occurred in this temperature range. | |||||||
