Fifty-three patients received carbon ion radiotherapy with a total dose of 43.2-50.4 GyE in 12 fractions and concurrent GEM with a dose of 400-1000mg/m2 once a week. The correlation between GI toxicities and dose-volume histogram (DVH) parameters in stomach and duodenum was analyzed. In patients with gastric ulcer, the total dose irradiated in stomach had tendency to increase. However there was no significant correlation between other GI toxicity and DVH.
