Gefitinib (Iressa) has been reported to inhibit the proliferation of pancreatic cancer. And the degree of enhancement of radiation effect is increased with combining GEM and Iressa. In this study, we investigated the effectiveness of combining GEM and Iressa with carbon ion radiotherapy for pancreatic cancer.
