内容記述 After the accident at the Fukushima Dai-ichi Nuclear Power Station (FDNPS) happened in March 2011, large amounts of radionuclides including radiocaesium also released from the FDNPS into the terrestrial and marine environments. In the oceans, the behaviour of Cs is thought to be conservative, that is, Cs mainly exists in a dissolved state (more than 90% for Cs in seawater) and it is carried primarily by seawater physical actions (e.g. current and tidal effects) and then widely diffused. Off the Fukushima prefecture, the 137Cs activity concentrations in surface-layer seawater at NPE2, NP0, NP2, NPE1, AN7, I01, AN7, E and A stations, which are located within about 10 km from the east coast of Japan, were higher than those at other stations during 2013-2015 [1]. In this study, we discuss dissolved 137Cs distributions and variations in seawater samples collected in the same area during three sampling periods of 2015-2016 comparing to those in 2013-2015.
In 2013-2016, dissolved 137Cs activity concentrations in surface-layer were higher at NPE 2, NP1 and NP0, which are close stations from the FDNPS, compared to those of station. These relatively high 137Cs at NP0 were diffused at deep-layer seawater because all water depth at NP0 station is covered with the mixing-layer (water depth: 11 m). However, there is no diffusion to deeper-layer in both the NP line and North-south line excluding NP0. It seems that relatively high 137Cs activity concentrations occurred in limited area of nearly FDNPS.
