A portable radiation monitor named as "CREPAS" for dosimetry of high energy radiation has been developed. The signal waveforms are analyzed on site for the discrimination of different radiation components obtained with a phoswich-type scintillation probe. In the present study, the discrimination ability of the developed monitor was tested for accelerated carbon-ion beams and helium-ion beams at HIMAC. It was verified that the developed monitor can successfully detect helium ions and carbon ions separately. The extension of the dynamic range and the reduction of the angular dependence of the developed monitor are future problems.
