At the ion storage and cooler ring, S-LSR completed at ICR, Kyoto University in October, 2005, the electron cooling has been successfully performed for 7 MeV proton resulting the momentum spread of 5x10-6, although the 1 dimensional ordering is not yet observed. Electron cooled short bunch beam with the pulse width of <20 ns has been extracted. Stacking of the electron cooled proton beam resulted in the vertical beam instability, which was found to be damped by the feedback utilizing the picked up signals by the electrostatic position monitor.
